On a theme of "Finding Delight in and Interacting with Ice," numerous magical ice sculptures of all sizes will transport you to a mysterious world illuminated with neon lights as you walk through the Welcome Gate. The venue features the popular ice sculpture encapsulating a fish, ice mascots of commercial broadcasting stations, photo service, information, and a rest area. Approximately 60 sculptures including the ice sculpture with a trapped fish, ice sculptures form the contest, large-scale Ainu ice sculptures that are powerful and magnificent, and sculptures depicting characters from each broadcasting company will be on display. An information and photo service booth will be established to provide information on each site, photo opportunities, and much more to show our hospitality.

The first sculpture to welcome visitors is the "welcome gate," a popular ice sculpture with a fish trapped inside, and other large sculptures that announce the start of a fantastic ice show illuminated by neon lights!
A variety of small and large ice sculptures line the streets. The sparkling crystal-like appearance will entice visitors to snap a photo on their smartphone.
A ice sculpture contest will be held in the contest venue displaying ten ice sculptures made by ice sculptors. Watch as the artists show off their detailed skills carving out sculptures until they are complete. There will also be an information booth set up to sell merch and help guide visitors throughout the venue.
A photo service will also be set up as part of our "hospitality" endeavors, where visitors can take photos. This area is a great place to gather, with photo services and ice mascots from various commercial broadcasting stations that are popular among children.
