A KISS IN DEPTH

A KISS IN DEPTH

When you look at sea, the only visible things are the restless waves and the foam riding on a crest of the waves.
Below the surface of the sea, there exists a whole new world.
In the depth of the sea it is bubbling…

A lonely heart has found another.

Dancing Dragon

Dancing Dragon

The dragon is mythological animal revered in Chinese culture. It symbolises luck, nobility and power. People perform dragon dances hoping to bring fair weather and therefore pray for weather conducive for bountiful crops. Dragon dancing is also believed to bring good luck and fortune for the people associated with the dance. This is why it is usually performed on special occasions or grand openings, especially during the festival Chinese New Year celebrations. Dragon dancers move in a wave-like pattern to the rhythmic pounding of drums, while performer run in spiral formations to make the dragon’s body twist and turn expressing msny emotions such as joy and happiness, creating a magnificent spectacle for the audience.

To celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Sapporo Snow Festival, the Hong Kong team has created ‘the Dancing Dragon’ snow sculpture to wish Sapporo’s residents and visitors peace and prosperity for coming year.
